Challenge
The main challenge was to design and build a branded, emotionally engaging one-page Shopify website within a limited budget and tight timeline—while learning the Shopify platform for the first time. The client wasn’t fully sure of what they wanted at the start, so part of the challenge involved helping them define their goals, audience, and visual direction through fast-paced workshops. Visually, the client had specific creative requests like animations and custom interactions, but technical limitations of Shopify required us to adapt and simplify during development. Balancing creativity with platform constraints and first-time implementation made this both a strategic and technical design challenge.

The project began with a fast-paced, collaborative kickoff session to define the website’s goal within a tight budget and timeline. Prioritizing speed and clarity over perfection, we brainstormed key brand elements such as tone, color, and voice. The goal was to create a one-page Shopify site that made users feel a sense of belonging and emotional connection—presenting the brand as a friendly, helpful ally. Porto-personas were created to guide design decisions and reflect on the needs and motivations of the target audience.

OUTCOME
